Born 5-22-09. Here we go—our first buckskin grandson of Paddys Irish Whiskey by our own son, TRR Paddys Texas Gin aka Tex. ‘Rodeo’ is a nice, athletic and vigorous colt with a larger white star and the only white on his feet is a right rear heel. He’s already loping around and doing little roll backs. Take a good look at Rodeo’s topside with Peppy San Badger, Doc’s Starlight and Tanquery Gin. His dam is BP Princess Lace. She goes three times to Two Eyed Jack, is double bred Sir Relic and Sunrise Gold Bo who was a grandson of Skippers Lad by Skipper W. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are proving themselves to be versatile in everything from cutting to reined cowhorse to roping and everything in between. Add in the Two Eyed Jack and this colt should be a strong contender for any venue you point him to. We’ll have to see how he develops, but we feel that he could be a stallion prospect as well. His 2009 full brother, Paddys Gin Jack JW, went to South Dakota as a stud prospect. HERDA N/N. $1500 (US)
UPDATE 7-24-10. Rodeo is shedding off to be quite light. We will continue to update pictures as his black points shed in and his color changes. He has a super nice hip. His dam puts an excellent disposition on all her foals. We know of several riders and they are all athletes and all very level headed. You will not go wrong with this colt and he'll have a nice buckskin color as an added bonus.
