Born 5-7-14. ‘Char B’ is solid bay with no white on him. He is the only bay for this mare ever. Char B is one of a kind and will be a solid horse. His dam, Charjody, is a gorgeous 84% NFQHA double bred Two Eyed Jack mare with him still on her papers. She also goes back to Babe Cody by Bill Cody. We have retained her 2008 daughter, Peponita Stareyed JW aka Bubbles, for our program. Bubbles is one of the ranches main saddle horses. She has such an awesome disposition and a lot of cow to her. Char B will be joining his 2010 full brother, Charmander Reed JW, 2011 full brother, Charizard Reed JW, and 2012 maternal sister, Paddys Gin Tookie JW, in North Carolina. Charjody’s 2013 stud colt, Paddys Gin Jig JW, is in Utah as an all-around ranch horse prospect. Char B’s sire is JK Jay Reed aka Pine Cone. JK Jay Reed is a 96% foundation bred stallion with Poco Pine, Continental King by King P-234, Joe Reed II and Whiskey Bert all on his papers. Pine Cone has King P-234 fairly close up and goes back to him six times. Char B is 90% NFQHA eligible and is bred to be an all round horse that will make one of those nice high dollar geldings. He will be cowy, stout, able to cover country, catch a cow and hold a calf. His pedigree is solid with good dispositions all around.
UPDATE 11-14-14 Wow! What can we say. Char B may be the best foal for 2014! He has all the right looks, disposition and pedigree. We are extremely excited to see what his future holds for him. He is joining siblings with a repeat buyer in North Carolina.
