Born 3-17-18 “TC” is a bay stallion. He has a big white blaze and a white pastern on his rear left. His dam is Anyware who was purchased October 2016 from Wagonhound Land & Livestock Co., LLC as a consignment at the Return to the Remuda Sale at The Four Sixes Ranch in Texas. We had been looking for a daughter of Playgun for a couple years and are very pleased with the purchase of ‘Jewels’. We feel her pedigree speaks for itself. She is about 14-3, very feminine and stout and thick. She is very friendly and easy to work with. She was purchased open for 2017 but with an inclusive 2017 breeding to WR This Cats Smart. We enrolled her in the embryo transfer program which resulted in 2 full siblings by WR and two more expected full siblings by Bet Hesa Cat due early May. TC is the 2nd of the full siblings with his brother being 2 months older.
WR This Cats Smart is a 1999 Sorrel Stallion (High Brow Cat–The Smart Look, by Smart Little Lena) and an Earner of $236,514. His accomplishments include making the finals of 24 Major Aged Events at 4, 5, and 6! NCHA Open Finals Champion (Winning the 1st (tie) and 2nd Go-Rounds), 2017 NRCHA #1 and NCHA #8 Leading Sire, 2017 #1 Leading Ranching Horse Sire, an NCHA All-Time Leading Sire and an Equi-Stat Top 25 All-Time Leading Reined Cow Horse Sire. His foals have earned $10,200,000! "A star all the way - so very smart and stylish," as Tim Smith described WR This Cats Smart upon winning the 2005 NCHA Finals. Tim has trained many greats, but few turning in this sheer number of memorable performances. Dam is, The Smart Look, the only mare to have produced an NCHA Open Futurity, Open Super Stakes and Open Derby Champion. Her foals have earned more than $1,800,000!
TC is quite a looker and he can fly! This foal has some legs underneath him and is taller than his full brother born in January. We are super excited to see if he develops just as stout and strong. He is built right with an awesome pedigree to make a great futurity prospect.

UPDATE 11/15/2021: TC has been sold to a repeat buyer, the Moffitt Family in Kansas. He is NN and has been in training with Schlegal Cowhorses. Moffitts intend to keep him in training for now and also to keep him a stallion. He has earned himself some money and and earned points in VRH Reining, VRH Ranch Horse, VRH Cow Horse and VRH Conformation so far. We will be super excited to see and hear what all they do with him.
