Born 5-18-18 ‘Greece’ is a bay stallion with an irregular strip and both rear white pasterns. He is the second foal from this dam. He has an older maternal sibling, 2016 Paddys Gin Rallye JW.  His dam, Lily Dancer Reed JW aka Dancer, is one of our own JK Jay Reed aka Pine Cone daughters that we have exposed to Whoop Up Whiskey. This is quite the epitome of our program to put one of our Paddy’s Irish Whiskey sons back on a Pine Cone daughter. We are blending these two families.  Dancer’s mother was one of our Mujer Tacky Jay daughters and is really impressed us with the quality of foals she’s produced for us. We lost her in 2017 and are very thankful that her legacy can carry on through her daughters and granddaughters. There are a lot of great horses in Dancer’s pedigree from Jet Deck and Leo Tag just off her papers to other greats Three Bars, Poco Bueno and old time horses like Old Sorrel. Dancer goes back to King P-234 a combined 15 times!! We really believe in these well-established horse families and in Dancer’s mare line as she is so closely bred to many of our great saddle horses.

Greece’s sire is Whoop Up Whiskey. ‘Whoop’ is a 2010 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile.  A key difference between Whoop Up Whiskey and our other PIW son, TRR Paddys Texas Gin, is the dam pedigree. While both dams go back to Doc O Lena, Whoop’s goes to Doc O Dynamite who also stood at the John Scott Ranch. Doc O Dynamite was an Equi-State leading cutting sire from 1999-2005 who produced money earners and according to his performance record, his daughters have produced many money earning foals in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. Doc O Dynamite has a pedigree that traces back to Three Bars giving a bit more stretch and speed to his offspring and shows up on the pedigree of many arena and speed event horses. Whoop Up Whiskey aka Whoop brings that little more height and length and speed to our program as compared to TRR Paddys Texas Gin. He has excellent bone, athleticism and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level. Whoop’s foals are all breaking out well and kind.

Greece will should have size and be extremely athletic to be a nice roping, rodeo, ranch or ranch versatility show horse. We are seeing a lot of style and grace in these Whoop babies.  He is a very stylish and good looking colt.
