 Heading to Texas
Thanks Randy!

Born 5-10-20 “Pistol” is a bay stallion with a star and larger snip that slides off the left side of his nose.  He also has Whoop’s trademark higher white half stockings on both rear legs. We have chosen two themes this year to name our foals, one is using names of Texas cities or towns and the other to continue with western names for only our Whoop foals.

His dam is Anyware who was purchased October 2016 from Wagonhound Land & Livestock Co., LLC as a consignment at the Return to the Remuda Sale at The Four Sixes Ranch in Texas. We had been looking for a daughter of Playgun for a couple years and are very pleased with the purchase of ‘Jewels’.  We feel her pedigree speaks for itself.  She is about 14-3, very feminine and stout and thick.  She is very friendly and easy to work with. She was purchased open for 2017 but with an inclusive 2017 breeding to WR This Cats Smart. We enrolled her in the embryo transfer program which resulted in 2 full siblings by WR and two more full siblings by Bet Hesa Cat. Her 2018, Anyware This Cat, went to a repeat buyer in Kansas, 2018 Anyware This Smart is in training and still available for sale, 2018 Anyware Lucky Bet and 2018 Anyware Bet are both fillies we have retained for ourselves. Anyware Bet is currently in training as a possible show prospect for ourselves.

Pistol’s sire is Whoop Up Whiskey. ‘Whoop’ is a 2010 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile.  A key difference between Whoop Up Whiskey and our other PIW son, TRR Paddys Texas Gin, is the dam pedigree. While both dams go back to Doc O Lena, Whoop’s goes to Doc O Dynamite who also stood at the John Scott Ranch. Doc O Dynamite was an Equi-State leading cutting sire from 1999-2005 who produced money earners and according to his performance record, his daughters have produced many money earning foals in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. Doc O Dynamite has a pedigree that traces back to Three Bars giving a bit more stretch and speed to his offspring and shows up on the pedigree of many arena and speed event horses. Whoop Up Whiskey aka Whoop brings that little more height and length and speed to our program as compared to TRR Paddys Texas Gin. He has excellent bone, athleticism and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level. Whoop’s foals are breaking out really kind and level headed.

We fully expect Pistol to be one of our top prospects we offer to the public. We are very excited about him and believe he will make a nice performance prospect.

“Don’t miss a chance to COWBOY UP with a WHISKEY UP foal!”
