Born 5-14-11. We are having a little fun by using Star Wars names for some of our foals this year. Jango as in Jango Fett is a fantastic sorrel stud colt. He has a star, strip and rear left white ankle. He is a grandson of Paddys Irish Whiskey by TRR Paddys Texas Gin aka Tex. His dam is Miss Jacks Wrangler. Take a good look at Jango’s pedigree. You cannot ask for a better performance-speed combination. Peppy San Badger, Doc’s Starlight, Doc Bar, Tanquery Gin, Doc O’ Lena, Poco Tivio on top and Two Eyed Jack, Rocket Wrangler, Bugs Alive in 75 and Triple Jill by Triple Chick on the bottom. Wow!! Those names speak for themselves. Jango is put together very nicely—his dam is one of our best producers. Her 2008 stallion, Peponita Bugseyed JW, went to Kansas as a stud prospect; 2009 filly, Paddys Gin Rocket JW, stayed here in ND with Lawson Quarter Horses; and 2010 filly, Paddys Gin Alive JW, went to Tennessee as a roping prospect and show prospect. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile. With that wonderful speed-cowhorse pedigree, Jango, can go for any event or direction and certainly has the pedigree to be a stallion prospect. $1300 (US)
UPDATE 6-12-12: Wow---what more can we say about Jango? His pictures don't do him justice. Jango has an awesome presence about him. Miss Jacks Wrangle always brings in one of our top foals--packed with muscle and Jango was not a disappointment. He is staying in North Dakota and we wish Jennifer every success with him.
