Jacks Our Bartender is a son of
Bartenders Memory by Two ID Bartender and out of a
granddaughter of Two Eyed Jack, Watch Miss Jo Jackie,
born in 2003.
Purchasing Jack was not exactly a planned venture, but a
happened upon opportunity. We have long been fans of Two
Eyed Jack and Two ID Bartender lines and have felt that
they niche well with Paddys Irish Whiskey horses. We
were initially looking for broodmare prospects to add to
our remuda. We located Hockenson Quarter Horses in IA
and found some very nice prospects that carry the Pitzer
bloodlines. We drove down to visit with them and look at
the fillies in person. Although we found 2 prospect
fillies and a broodmare, all listed on our mare page, we
absolutely fell in love with this gorgeous bay roan
stallion, Jacks Our Bartender. Hockensons, knowing we
were also looking for a stallion prospect, offered him
to us. We pondered on the idea of purchasing Jack for
several months. After we just couldn’t get him out of
our head, we made the deal with Hockenson’s to purchase
Jack the spring of 2017. We are extremely grateful and
excited to add him to our program. We have given Jack
some of our top producing mares for the 2018 foaling
season.
In the fall of 2002 Hockenson’s purchased Watch Miss Jo
Jackie in foal to Bartenders Memory. Jacks Our Bartender
was born in May of 2003 and would later become the sire
that really started to establish their breeding program.
Hockenson Quarter Horses was founded in 2005, which was
the first spring that they stood Jacks Our Bartender. It
wasn’t until 2008 that they realized just how athletic
Jack was when they took him down to Luke Jones to have
him begin roping on him. Unfortunately, due to a stifle
injury from being kicked by a mare, Jack was not able to
stay sound enough to enter the show ring, but was able
to prove his athletic ability. Since then several of his
colts have ended up in the roping arena and continue to
prove their athleticism and great minds. By 2015
Hockenson’s realized that he was producing some really
great roping horses and decided to see if they could
keep his stifle sound enough to show and sure enough in
a very short time he quickly earned 5.5 AQHA Heading
Points of his own proving that his offspring
accomplishments were not by chance. He is a great horse
to be around and out produces himself every time.
Jack has 3 AQHA performing offspring. Many of his
other foals have gone on to be great rodeo horses or
rope horses competing and earning money in different
associations.

We thank
Hockenson’s for the opportunity to purchase him and for
the ability to use their information to promote him.
They have retained some frozen semen on him and those
breedings may be purchased through them. They also had
three 2017 foals by him and may have some older
offspring still for sale as well.
Jack is 15-3
and moves like a 14-2 horse with a tremendous amount
athleticism and power. He is like watching our Paddys
Irish Whiskey stallions move around in a much larger
package. It is quite impressive. Starting in 2018 he
will see some of our Paddys Irish Whiskey daughters and
granddaughters as well as other mares.
