Born 5/13/2018 “Lucky” is a red roan filly. She has a big white blaze and yet to be determined leg markings. Her dam is Anyware who was purchased October 2016 from Wagonhound Land & Livestock Co., LLC as a consignment at the Return to the Remuda Sale at The Four Sixes Ranch in Texas. We had been looking for a daughter of Playgun for a couple years and are very pleased with the purchase of ‘Jewels’. We feel her pedigree speaks for itself. She is about 14-3, very feminine and stout and thick. She is very friendly and easy to work with. She was purchased open for 2017 but with an inclusive 2017 breeding to WR This Cats Smart. We enrolled her in the embryo transfer program which resulted in 2 full siblings by WR and two more full siblings by Bet Hesa Cat. Lucky is the 2nd of those two full siblings and was carried by Anyware herself.
Bet Hesa Cat is a 2006 Red Roan Stallion earner of $267,465 and a NCHA Open World Champion! He is the only World Champion Stallion at age 5 in history, only World Champion Stallion by High Brow Cat and the only World Champion Stallion whose dam is also a World Champion! BET HESA CAT is the ONLY stallion that crosses the #1 all-time leading cutting sire High Brow Cat on NCHA World Champion, two-time NCHA Finals Champion and NCHA Hall of Fame member BET YER BLUE BOONS, earners of $350,000 and producer of foals earning nearly $500,000.
Lucky is a very nice looking filly. She has the pedigree and built right to be someone’s next futurity prospect, performance or breeding prospect. However, she was stepped on the day she was born and broke her pastern. We are currently on cast change #4 and she is growing and strong. We are hopeful for her to be sound enough to be a broodmare or even light riding. Time will tell. We are very excited to how things turn out for her. She is not for sale at this time.
We had 3 nice recip mares from The 6666s Ranch in Texas to raise our first three embryo babies in 2018. But this is Anyware herself in these pictures.
Lucky is a very nice looking filly. She has the pedigree and is built right to be someone’s next futurity prospect, performance or breeding prospect. However, she was stepped on the day she was born and broke her pastern. We put her through several casts and shoes to get her as sound as possible. The hoof is doing well, but the foot is crooked. At a walk she is sound but she gets pretty gimpy at a trot but not sore. She will be sound enough to be a broodmare and is not for sale at this time.
