Due to unforeseen circumstances, we only had interns until the middle of June and are currently without any which we usually have through December of each year. Therefore, we have been delayed with getting our 34 foals on the website & Facebook. Please be patient with us. We know many folks have been messaging and calling. We won’t have any additional help with halter breaking this fall and are pricing all colts and fillies for the same price of $2000 each with $2250 if they are colored with cream, gray or roan. We will honor the 10% discount for repeat and multiple buyers. We reserve the right to keep which we want for ourselves and to keep some at a higher price. Halter training will be basic and gentled but not to the same degree some of you may be used to. They will be weaned and eating good for 2 weeks. Genetic testing will be sent in but will be listed as pending for those with no results yet. Whoop Up Whiskey has a 50/50 chance as GBED carrier; TRR Paddys Texas Gin has a 50/50 chance as HERDA carrier; and handful of mares with have a 50/50 chance as either one or both of those two disorders.
Born 4-29-24. Some years we do a fun theme for names. This year we decided to go with a space theme. Many of these names are a little loose in thoughts regarding if they are planets, stars, or things found in space. This filly is named Titania. Titania is Uranus’ largest moon and is the eighth largest moon in the solar system.
‘Titania’ is a bay filly that looks to be going gray with white forehead hairs and left rear small white to inside. Her dam is Mia Holly Gunpowder aka Holly. Holly’s dam, Sapa Mia Reed JW, is a mare we raised out of Little Sapa and JK Jay Reed. Take a good look at the speed pedigree on Mia’s bottom side. According to Circle Dot Horses, Mia Cash Too was a gentle, AAA Stakes Placed Winner with a nice disposition who ran the 3rd fastest qualifying time in the All-American Derby and sired foals that went on the be race horses, barrel horses and arena even horses and had plenty of cow. Little Sapa leaves Dash For Cash on Mia’s papers and also gives her Leroy Brown, Three Bars and Jet Deck through both Easy Jet and Jet Smooth. Mia’s sire is a 96% foundation bred stallion with Poco Pine, Continental King by King P-234, Joe Reed II and Whiskey Bert all on his papers. Holly’s sire is PG Gunpowder, a son of Playgun who has earned $18K+ in NCHA earnings and is a World Champion sire. 6666’s website states, “PG Gunpowder proved himself quickly as a sire with WS Snicklefritz, the 2009 NCHA Limited Rider Co-World Champion. Sired by all-time leading Playgun, he is out of a proven daughter of Peppy San Badger and granddaughter of Doc O’Lena - a cross that has produced earners of more than $3,500,000.” This is Holly’s first foal for us and we are very excited with this very interesting cross.
Her sire, Top Gun Whiskey, is one of four Paddys Irish Whiskey sons that we have owned. This is his 6th foal crop. We decided to give Top Gun a shot at the show ring before breeding him. In 2016 he qualified for the AQHA World Show in Jr Reining, Jr Reining Level 2 and Jr Cowhorse Level 2; in 2017 he qualified for the AQHA World Show in Jr Cowhorse, Jr Cowhorse Level 2 and Open Heading Level 2 placing 6th. It has been an interesting ride as he continued to show during the 2018 year as well as breed some of our mares for 2019 foals. Top Gun qualified for the 2018 World NRCHA show, was 2018 North Central Regional NRCHA Champion and has earned 47 AQHA performance points in reining, working cow horse, heading, vrh cutting, vrh confirmation, vrh reining and heeling. He also has his AQHA Open Performance ROM. Top Gun was injured during 2019 breeding season that cut his showing career short, but he still qualified for NRCHA Celebration of Champions in LTD Open Bridle. He was North Central Region NRCHA 4th place LTD Open Bridle and North Central Region NRCHA 9th place Open Bridle. Check out his stallion page for the most up to date information as we will change it as it happens.
Titania will have all the right moves and ‘cowiness’ to make an excellent performance, ranch, or rope horse. She will be a dynamo package with a good disposition. Mama carries GBED and so 50/50 for this filly also.
