 SOLD
Now in TX with David!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we only had interns until the middle of June and are currently without any which we usually have through December of each year. Therefore, we have been delayed with getting our 34 foals on the website & Facebook. Please be patient with us.  We know many folks have been messaging and calling. We won’t have any additional help with halter breaking this fall and are pricing all colts and fillies for the same price of $2000 each with $2250 if they are colored with cream, gray or roan. We will honor the 10% discount for repeat and multiple buyers. We reserve the right to keep which we want for ourselves and to keep some at a higher price. Halter training will be basic and gentled but not to the same degree some of you may be used to.  They will be weaned and eating good for 2 weeks. Genetic testing will be sent in but will be listed as pending for those with no results yet.  Whoop Up Whiskey has a 50/50 chance as GBED carrier; TRR Paddys Texas Gin has a 50/50 chance as HERDA carrier; and handful of mares with have a 50/50 chance as either one or both of those two disorders.

Born 6-22-24. Some years we do a fun theme for names. This year we decided to go with a space theme.  Many of these names are a little loose in thoughts regarding if they are planets, stars, or things found in space.  This colt is named Pulsar. A pulsar is a highly magnetized rotating neutron star that emits beams of electromagnetic radiation out of its magnetic poles

‘Pulsar’ is a bay roan stallion. Pulsar’s dam is Two ID Sweet Shine aka Lizzie. “Lizzie” is a beautiful bay roan filly we picked up from Tien Quarter Horses in Prairie View KS. We are very excited to have another Two ID Sweet Jack daughter in our program. We had been looking for replacements of our own older Pitzer bred mares and found Lizzie! Her sire, Two ID Sweet Jack was bred by the Pitzer Ranch and is sired by two-time world champion Two ID Bartender (1983 Jr. Heading and Heeling World Champion) and out of an own daughter of Watch Joe Jack, which makes him 37.5% Two Eyed Jack.  He has a great disposition and is a very quick, athletic horse with a big stop.  He is a talented performer having earned 330.5 AQHA points, which makes him the top performance horse sired by Two ID Bartender.  In 2001 he became an AQHA Performance Champion and he qualified for the AQHA World Show four consecutive years.  He has made the finals in all three roping events and in 2000 he placed 7th in Sr. Heeling.  The "Sweet Jack" colts are good-minded, athletic horses that ride extremely well.  He has had 8 foals shown as well. Lizzie’s dam, Zan N Shine, is by Fuel N Shine. Fuel N Shine is a Shining Spark son who is an AQHA World Champion Jr Working Cow Horse, Performance Register of Merit (AQH ROM WCH and Reining) and a Jr Reining World Show Qualifier. Zan N Shine is out of Lizzie Zan Parr, by Skip Zan Parr an AQHA Champion, Superior Western Pleasure and a World Champion sire. Skip Zan Parr is a son of Zan Parr Bar. We were excited to introduce this pedigree into our program as well! Lizzie was started under saddle spring 2020 and did very well. Lizzie’s first foal, Whiskey Up Fern JW, went to WI with our intern we had that season. Her 2nd foal, Whiskey Up Quartz JW, was a very nice colt that is in MT.

Pulsar’s sire is Whoop Up Whiskey . ‘Whoop’ is a 2010 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. This is his 11th foal crop. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile.  A key difference between Whoop Up Whiskey and our other PIW sons is the dam pedigree. Whoop’s dam goes to Doc O Dynamite who also stood at the John Scott Ranch. Doc O Dynamite was an Equi-State leading cutting sire from 1999-2005 who produced money earners and according to his performance record, his daughters have produced many money earning foals in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. Doc O Dynamite has a pedigree that traces back to Three Bars giving a bit more stretch and speed to his offspring and shows up on the pedigree of many arena and speed event horses. Whoop Up Whiskey aka Whoop brings that little more height and length and speed to our program as. He has excellent bone, athleticism and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level. Whoop’s foals are breaking out really kind and level headed.

Quartz should be a nice all-around prospect with a lot of style. He will be able to excel in the arena or on the ranch as well. We are seeing a lot of that style and grace in these Whoop babies.  This colt specifically has the Tien Quarter Horses program and signature grandsire backing him.  He will be for sale.

Pulsar is one of a few full siblings with Whoop Up Whiskey.  Mama is switched to Top Gun Whiskey for 2025.  Pulsar will be quick and catty and with Whoop as his sire he does have a 50/50 chance of GBED so keep checking report below.
