“Wynona” is a dunskin mare we purchased from Hockenson Quarter Horses. She is the 6th filly we have purchased from them and the first CT Show Me Your Guns daughter to add to our program. CT Show Me Your Guns is a 2021 World Champion Senior Header. He is still owned by Hockenson Quarter Horses. He was started as a cow horse and then had some reining training put on him, but he finally ended up in the roping pen where he has excelled. He is an AQHA World Champion, multiple AQHA World Show Super Horse Contender and a multiple AQHA World Show Top Ten. He earned Superior Heading and Superior Heeling . He is also an Open AQHA Champion and has AQHA Halter R.O.M. His LTE is $18,623 AQHA/ARHFA with 390.5 AQHA pts. He is the sire of a World Champion, Reserve World Champion and AQHA Champion. His offspring so far have earned over $104,000 and 820 AQHA pts.

Wynona’s dam is Wilma Gotta Gun. “Wilma” is by NRHA 2 Million Dollar Sire, Spooks Gotta Gun (LTE $81K) and out of Ifwhizsweredollars (NRHA LTE $609 and PE in excess of $122K). She is a full sister to Ifwhizswereguns, who earned $122K NRHA. Wilma has produced over $47,000 in earnings so far. She is the dam of HQ Wilma Gotta Kitty by Meteles Cat, earner of over $26,000 NRCHA and was NRCHA Celebration of Champions L1 Limited Open Reserve Champion. She is also the dam of Wynona’s 2019 full sister HQ Girl Totin Guns, who was 3rd in the Yearling In Hand Trail Class in 2020 at the Iowa Ranch Horse Futurity, winning $585 and is currently being shown in the open and amateur and is qualified for 2025 AQHA World Show in both. Another full brother to Wynona currently showing is 2021 HQ Show Me The Spook. He is currently leading the AQHA Honor Roll in Jr Heading, Money earning 4 yr old, is qualified for the 2025 AQHA World Show in four events and only needs 3 halter points to be their sire’s 3rd AQHA Champion in 3 foal crops! He has over $8,000 in earnings so far.

Wynona plays very well into our program with her pedigree full of Playgun, Topsail Whiz, Grays Starlight (full brother to Paddys Irish Whiskey) and Pitzer Breeding, all of which we love and focus on.

Wynona has grown up nicely. Her two older full siblings are really making a name for themselves in the show world and we are just so excited to add this bloodline to our program! We can’t wait to see what Wynona produces for us. She is exposed to Top Gun Whiskey for a 2026 foal.
