HQ Jacks Rojavaquera means Red Cowgirl which is a very fitting name.  We call her Vaquera.  She is a 90% NFQHA (F0039274) beautiful sorrel mare that we bought in 2016 from Hockenson Quarter Horses in Iowa.  She reminded us so much of a sorrel mare we had years ago but of course she is herself and very different from Tequila.  We were specifically shopping for young replacement fillies with the Two Eyed Jack/Pitzer bloodlines to pair up with any of our Paddys Irish Whiskey sons as some of our older mares with those lines have already niched very well with our Paddys stallions.  We absolutely love her sire, Jacks Our Bartender, and his pedigree with Two Eyed Jack and Two ID Bartender.  Jack has his own points in open heading and has sired many horses that are being roped and headed on as well as being good family horses. The Jackie Bee on Vaquera’s bottomside is a new line to our program and we are excited to see how that plays out along with the Skipper W and Sonny Dee Bar. HQ Jacks Rojavaquera is 5 panel NN.

Vaquera has many full siblings that are all using horses.  She was started under saddle as a two year old and entered the broodmare bunch in 2018 as a three year old.  Along with her own pictures we have listed pictures of her dam and sire.  He is beautiful, extremely athletic and even better to look at in person. In fact we liked him so much that we also purchased him and now have foal crops on the ground here in North Dakota.  We are choosing to retain other daughters of his.  Vaquera has matured into a very nice mare. A very fun fact for 2019 is that Vaquera is a Jack daughter and produced a Whoop Up Whiskey offspring, Whiskey Up Shang JW.  We have a Whoop daughter that produced a Jack offspring. So a swap up of pedigrees.  They are both very nice colts.  Vaquera had the year off and was bred by Whoop again for a bay stallion, Whiskey Up Chives JW. She had a bay filly, Whiskey Up Krill JW for 2022. We are pleased with this cross so she had another Whoop foal in 2023, Whiskey Up Zinc JW a bay stallion. Vaquera had a bay filly by Whoop for 2024, Whiskey Up Europa JW. She is exposed back to him again for 2025.
