“Roany” is 87% NFQHA (F0032125). Look at this mare’s pedigree. Fancy Roan Bar by Roan Bar by Bar Nothing Springer by Bartender. Throw in Tom Baker and Bell Boy Bar and you have a pedigree deep in the Reeves family breeding from South Dakota. Weaver Quarter Horses at Big Sandy, Montana has had some of these Roan Bar Dandy and Cake and Cream horses and they have sure sold well for them. This is a super nice, moderate sized mare. ALL but three of her foals are roans. She has one stallion standing at stud and we are riding her 2004 bay roan daughter, Docs Fancy Roan. Her 2008 filly, Peponita Roan Bar JW is by Mr Salty Peponita and has been retained for our program. Roany has had four foals with TRR Paddys Texas Gin -- 2010 Paddys Gin Shasta JW, 2011 Paddys Gin Mara JW, 2012 Paddys Gin Sierra JW, and 2013 Paddys Gin Twist JW. Since she has proven over and over again how awesome her foals are with Tex, we decided to pasture expose her to JK Jay Reed for 2014. Her foals with him will be 91.5% NFQHA eligible. Roany had a bay stallion, Fancy Pine Reed JW. We have always been a fan of this mare, so she is pasture exposed to our new Paddys Irish Whiskey stallion, Whoop Up Whiskey for a 2015 foal. She had a bay roan filly, Whiskey Up Roan JW. We were so pleased we exposed Roany to Whoop again for a 2016 foal, but unfortunatley she was open. We are excited to announce that after being open last year, she has been confirmed in foal to Whoop but expect it to be a summer foal.Unfortunatley Roany lost her 2017 foal. We were successful and she had a bay stallion, Whiskey Up Poland JW. This is her last foal and she will be retired after we wean this one off. This has been such a great mare for us and we have kept daughters and granddaughter from her.
