Born 6-10-18. ‘Po’ is a bay stallion with a star, larger snip that slides off the left side of his face matching rear white socks above the ankles along with both front white pasterns. His dam, Fancy Roan Belle, is an awesome, proven 87% NFQHA proven mare who is a very integral part of our program. She has one stallion standing at stud; we are riding her 2004 bay roan daughter, Docs Fancy Roan; have retained her 2008 strawberry roan daughter, Peponita Roan Bar JW and 2011 granddaughter, Paddys Gin Fanta JW aka Fanta for our program. Fanta had a successful show season in 2014 in reining and reined cowhorse. She showed in 2015 and won some money that year. Her 2014 grandson, Whiskey Up Crush JW, is in Calfornia as a show prospect as well. Her 2015 foal is a full sibling to ‘Po’, Whiskey Up Roan JW, who has been retained for our program and is being exposed to Jacks Our Bartender for her first foal in 2019. Let’s look at the mare’s pedigree deep in Reeves breeding from South Dakota--Fancy Roan Bar, Roan Bar, Bell Boy Bar, Tom Baker, Bar Nothing Springer and Bartender. You cannot ask for a better foundation, ranch, cow, or arena bloodline. This mare puts a very nice disposition on her foals. Po is her 15th and LAST foal and she is being retired this year. This is a proven mare! You can see some of her other foals by clicking on her page link.
‘Whoop’ is a 2010 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile. A key difference between Whoop Up Whiskey and our other PIW son, TRR Paddys Texas Gin, is the dam pedigree. While both dams go back to Doc O Lena, Whoop’s goes to Doc O Dynamite who also stood at the John Scott Ranch. Doc O Dynamite was an Equi-State leading cutting sire from 1999-2005 who produced money earners and according to his performance record, his daughters have produced many money earning foals in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. Doc O Dynamite has a pedigree that traces back to Three Bars giving a bit more stretch and speed to his offspring and shows up on the pedigree of many arena and speed event horses. Whoop Up Whiskey aka Whoop brings that little more height and length and speed to our program as compared to TRR Paddys Texas Gin. He has excellent bone, athleticism and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level.
Po will be packed with cow, athletic ability and the look to go any direction. We are seeing a lot of style and grace in these Whoop babies. We can share pictures of his full sister as a 3 year old and wow is she nice. She is already probably 15-1. He is a newborn and a 2 week old in these first pictures. We will continue to add as he grows.
“Don’t miss a chance to COWBOY UP with this WHISKEY UP foal!”
