Born 3-13-15. WOW—what a great foal to start the 2015 season! Cinch is a bay with a left white rear ankle and a smidge bit on his right rear. He’s built just right with a super nice cowhorse pedigree and a sweet disposition. Cinch's dam, Peponita Stareyed JW aka Bubbles, is a 2008 mare we raised. Bubbles is still built stout and yet very feminine with a nice wide forehead. Her mother, Charjody, is a gorgeous 84% NFQHA double bred Two Eyed Jack with him still on the papers. Bubbles also goes back to Babe Cody by Bill Cody. Her sire is Mr Salty Peponita,(100% FQHA), by Peponita. We always said if this filly grows up to look like her mother, have disposition like the Two Eyed Jacks and perform like the Peponitas, she will be an awesome mare; and that has come true. Bubbles was started very successfully under saddle summer 2010. She was a very calm and steady filly and just super nice to have around. Now in 2015, Bubbles has easily become a go to mare for us here on the ranch. She has really grown into herself and knows a cow. Bubbles will get aggressive and get after something, but has plenty of rate to her. She is very laid back, but when she is put to a task, she gets the job done and then relaxes afterward. Bubbles is like the energizer bunny that just keeps going and going and never gets tired.
This is Bubble's first foal by Whoop Up Whiskey. ‘Whoop’ is a 2010 son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a great John Scott mare, My Little Sugar Babe. The Paddys Irish Whiskey horses are making a name for themselves in everything from cutting to cowhorse events to roping horses and are very versatile. A key difference between Whoop Up Whiskey and our other PIW son, TRR Paddys Texas Gin, is the dam pedigree. While both dams go back to Doc O Lena, Whoop’s goes to Doc O Dynamite who also stood at the John Scott Ranch. Doc O Dynamite was an Equi-State leading cutting sire from 1999-2005 who produced money earners and according to his performance record, his daughters have produced many money earning foals in AQHA, NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. Doc O Dynamite has a pedigree that traces back to Three Bars giving a bit more stretch and speed to his offspring and shows up on the pedigree of many arena and speed event horses. Whoop Up Whiskey aka Whoop brings that little more height and length and speed to our program as compared to TRR Paddys Texas Gin. He has excellent bone, athleticism and conformation. His lineage tells us that his offspring will have cow and will be capable of performing at any level.
We fully expect Cinch to become a top prospect. He should have loads of cow with speed and size to him. You know it’s a top foal when it’s out of one of our proven saddle mares. The mare and her contribution to our ranch is valuable to us and for us to give her a year off to have a foa lsays something. This value is reflected in the price of these types of foals. Cinch is for sale.
