Born 5-3-19 ‘Ting Ting’ is a buckskin roan filly with white forehead hairs and both rear white ankles. We have chosen two movie themes this year to name our foals. One movie is Mulan and in coordination with the remake of Aladdin coming to theaters soon, the other is Aladdin characters. Ting Ting is one of the princesses in Mulan 2.
Ting Ting’s dam is Paddys Gin Dakota JW. She was one of our very first TRR Paddy Texas Gin fillies out of Mujer Lady Dial JW and was born in 2010. She was owned by a couple other people, before eventually making her way back to us. She is owned by us with Mack and Nicole Hoerner. She foaled a JK Jay Reed foal in 2017 for them and then took the year off.
Ting Ting’s sire, Jacks Our Bartender, is a son of Bartenders Memory by Two ID Bartender and out of a granddaughter of Two Eyed Jack, Watch Miss Jo Jackie, born in 2003. Unfortunately, due to a stifle injury from being kicked by a mare, Jack was not able to stay sound enough to enter the show ring, but was able to prove his athletic ability. Since then several of his colts have ended up in the roping arena and continue to prove their athleticism and great minds. By 2015 Hockenson’s realized that he was producing some really great roping horses and decided to see if they could keep his stifle sound enough to show and sure enough in a very short time he quickly earned 5.5 AQHA Heading Points of his own proving that his offspring accomplishments were not by chance. He is a great horse to be around and out produces himself every time. Jack has 3 AQHA performing offspring. Many of his other foals have gone on to be great rodeo horses or rope horses competing and earning money in different associations.
We bought Jack with one idea to be to put him on our Paddys Irish Whiskey daughters and granddaughters. He has the moves that they do but in a bigger horse package. This is the first foal from those expected crosses on a granddaughter and we are definitely NOT disappointed. We will be planning to keep this filly for ourselves. She is definitely buckskin. Her color test is Ee AA Rn/N. She is a roan herself and will pass that 50% of the time. We are absolutely thrilled with her! She had her first foal this year by our newest stallion Goldun Topsail aka Topper, a dunalino/roan filly Platinum Topsail JW who unfortantely suffered and injury and had to be put down. She had a red roan colt by Topper for 2024, Asteroid Topsail JW. She is exposed back to Topper for a 2025 foal.
