Padsy Cline, aka Sue, is by Paddys Irish Whiskey.  We have always owned several Paddys Irish Whiskey sons and Sue is one of four daughters we now own as well.

Paddys Irish Whiskey is a NCHA Money Earner and Multiple Major Aged Event Finalist. Foals have earned $1,702,161 & 5,424 AQHA points, 36 AQHA World/Reserve World Championships including 2-time AQHA World Champion Versatility Ranch Horse Smart Whiskey Doc. As a broodmare sire, foals have produced earners of more than $2,900,000. The Q-Data All-Time Leading Ranch Riding Sire. He is listed on a Leading Sire list each year since he was purchased by Paddys Irish Whiskey Syndicate. As per the 6666’s website, Paddys Irish Whiskey has a proven record of siring both class and high-end trainability with champions in versatility ranch horse, reined cow horse, cutting, reining, calf roping, and team roping. His daughters have produced more than $2,900,000 including an NRHA Open Futurity Champion and multiple AQHA and NRCHA World Champions.

Sue’s dam was never shown herself. She is a daughter of Smart Lil Riddler who also has no earnings but is a stout horse for a Smart Little Lena son. His listed owners have said on their website he is good minded and athletic and passes these traits down to his foals. Sue’s very bottom side traces back to Peponita through the mare Peponita Sue (hence her call name), who we are fans of and have influence in our broodmare herd already.

In 2021 she had her first foal for us by Goldun Topsail , Paddys Topsail JW, who was a very nice looking colt that went to Wyoming. She had a 2023 grullo colt, Howlite Topsail JW, but due to complications he was euthanized. Unfortunately her 2024 foal died shortly after birth. She had a beautiful red dun filly for 2025 Rivendell Topsail JW  that sold. She is open for 2026 and will be exposed back to Topper again for 2027.
