Thanks Josephine!

Macy is 88% NFQHA (F0035137). She is a 2010 mare we raised. Gorgeous black filly that is built just right.  ‘Macy’ is a filly with a super nice cowhorse pedigree.  Her sire is JK Jay Reed, a 96% foundation bred stallion with Poco Pine, Continental King, Joe Reed II and Whiskey Bert all on his papers.  Her dam, Blondy Bueno, is cutting bred with Doc Bar, Bueno Chex, Peppy San and Tianna Leo x Leo on her papers. She has a star, a snip and solid black legs with no white. Since her dam is a palomino, she is a smoky black carrying the cream gene that she can pass on 50% of the time. She is a smoky black and can produce palominos, buckskins or other smoky blacks. Macy’s dam and sire indicate that she will be athlete with a kind disposition. Her pedigree is full of great horses that make her the perfect mare to cross back on the more modern cutting, reining or cowhorse bloodlines. Both dam and sire are HERDA N/N so Macy is also N/N. Macy was cut up as a weanling and has a pretty significant scar where her right neck and shoulder join. She is healed and her cut injury also does not cause any permanent issues. We become very attached to her and absolutely sold on her disposition and willingness to learn. She is very friendly and level headed. With her disposition, genetics, great size and bone and the cream gene, she will add very well to our breeding program. It is a huge plus that her mother has quickly become one of our top mares and it’s a big boost to have her genetics continue on in our program. Macy was started under saddle in 2012 and did very well. She was used the spring of 2013 on cattle. She was very level headed and proved to be an asset to our program. She matured to around 15-1 to 15-2. We exposed Macy for 2014 to our stallion TRR Paddys Texas Gin which produced a fantastic buckskin filly, Paddy's Gin Timber JW. We gave her the 2015 year off. She produced two more foals by Tex again for 2016 & 2017 foals. A bay stallion, Paddys Gin Falcon JW and a sorrel filly, Paddys Gin Cardio JW. We are switched gears and exposed her to Walter O Rielly for 2018, but unfortunately the foal was deceased when born. Macy had a sorrel stallion by Jacks Our Bartender in 2019, Mushu Bartender JW.  She was exposed to Jack for 2020 and had a palomino filly, Abilene Bartender JW. She is being exposed to Jack again for a 2021 foal.

We are now offering Macy as a 2-in-1 exposed back to Jacks Our Bartender for another full sibling in 2021.  This pairing makes very solid and stout foals.
